Be prepared to share your answer and participate in a class discussion. [Please type your answers.]

2. How important are internships in the Creative Field.  Explain your answer?

3. Do you have any knowledge of, or experience with, AAAA / MAIP?

4. What are your thoughts on Graduate School?  Would you say it is necessary or even relevant?  Would you even recommend it? If so, what do you think are viable majors?

5. What are the professional levels of the creative field and what is the degree relevance/equivalence?

6. If you were an Art or Design Director, where would you go to look for talent (Designers, Photographers, Models, Voices, etc.)?

7. As an “African American Female/Male” what challenges do you feel you have to deal with and overcome? (If this doesn’t apply to you, change the terms of this question to make it fit your concerns.)

8. In your opinion, is business and marketing important or not very important for an artist in this field?  And to what degree should a young artist/designer aspire to know and understand business and marketing?

9. How significant is the understanding of Digital Media Technologies, the Online Universe and digital design software (QuarkXpress, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) in contemporary creative fields?
